Step 5 - Other Tables SetUp

How Do You Set Up the Other Tables?
Set up the individual tables with all the implements of the Seder Plate:

                                            “
Official” Name of Item                        Description

                                                  Roasted Egg 1per table Hardboiled
Brown Egg in Shell

                                                   Bitter Herbs Red or White
GRATED  Horseradish      (buy in bottle, then 2 Tbs per table of 8 people)

Kharoset Apple Mixture – See Recipe*

                                                   Parsley One sprig per person

                                                   Roasted Bone  1per table
Lamb Shank Bone or Chicken Leg Bone
(with all meat removed)

These additional items should be placed on each table:

Matzah  1 Large square per person

Salt Water 1 Bowl per table

Purple Grape Juice   1 Glass per person

Just a few additional notes:

·        You will find grated Horseradish in the refrigerated section at the grocery store.  Please do not get horseradish
sauce or a whole horseradish root.
·        The Matzah does not have to be “Kosher for Passover” but it does need to be the big sheets not the small ship
size crackers.
·        The bowl needed for the saltwater is any bowl you have available – you will need about ½ to 1 cup saltwater on
each table.
·        Each table should have extra juice to refill the glasses as the dinner progresses.
·        Remember this was a meal eaten in haste – not a formal dinner.
